Folks it has been way too long since I have shared anything. Life is going amazing around the Morris house. We have been traveling and working a lot. Trying to teach Lane to drive, which is sure fun lol. He has learned a lot so be on the lookout he will soon be on the road solo.
Leslie and I have been working alot preparing for our 2020 graduating class to sign up for photos. We have started our model team for this year and are excited to work with another amazing group of young people. If they are half as good as last years team it will be a blast.
I have also been on the move for PJ’S I have been visiting a lot of other schools from NJ to LA. I have been at a lot of high school visits which is one of my favorite things to do.
Fishing has been very tough this spring on Barren River Lake. The high water just kind of messed everyone up. By the time we could get a boat in the water the fish had scattered in the shallows and no one could find any. Thankfully I am an hour away from Dale Hollow and Cumberland. So I have been fishing there.
We got on some very good chatter bait bites early and followed those fish in. Now of course they have moved back out. I will share with you what I know about the bite at Dale Hollow. The fish are out on points and a shaky head is the hot deal right now. Later afternoon into night, or early morning.
Barren River Lake last weekend fish were caught in 3 to 8 feet of water on a chatter bait, and on drop shot senkos. Down close to the old road bed by the dam. Fish were plentiful but not real big. I am hoping to spend sometime on the water this weekend and can send some more info then.
Good Luck and God Bless,
